The short version
ClassCaller collects nothing. No personal information, no usage analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers. There is no account to create and nothing is transmitted off your device.
What that means in practice
- Your classes, students, sessions and scores stay on your device. They are stored in the app’s own local database.
- ClassCaller makes no network requests. The app does not contact any server, ours or anyone else’s.
- There is no analytics or advertising SDK of any kind in the app.
- We have no access to your data. Not because we choose not to look — because it never reaches us.
Backups and exports
- If you switch on Cloud Backup in Settings, your ClassCaller data is included in your device’s own iCloud or system backup, under your control and governed by your device provider’s terms. It is off by default.
- CSV export writes files wherever you tell it to. Once exported, those files are yours to manage — they contain student names and scores, so treat them as you would any other classroom record.
Children’s privacy
ClassCaller is a tool for teachers, not for students, and it is not directed at children. Because the app collects no data and transmits nothing, no information about any student — or anyone else — is ever gathered by us.
Apple Watch
The watch app syncs classes and sessions with your own iPhone directly. That data does not pass through any server.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be clarification rather than substance.
